This Raffle is being held to raise funds for Fritz, Rocky, & Dudley's bill as noted below.

Dudley's Story

Hi! My name is Dudley. I am a standard Eskie that had a home in Vernon TX. One day, my master's home caught on fire. The house burned to the ground. My master was very badly injured and no longer able to keep me. So I found myself in the Vernon Shelter. I was very sad. Then a nice man and lady from a place called OKEskies/Heart Bandits called the shelter and asked if they could take me. But there was a problem.....they did not have room for me for four months! I waited, and waited. Finally, the day came, and someone very kind came and got me out of that shelter. Boy was I so happy!

I really like it at Joe and Sabine's. They are such kind people. Lots of Eskies are here. They have a blind girl named Angel. And several others too. I had all my vaccinations. I was fine and healthy, happy, bouncing boy, glad to be out of that shelter and some place happy and warm. Best of all, I was heartworm negative! Not long after my arrival, I began not to feel so well. I kept going to the bathroom all the time. Boy was I miserable! I had no strength. I just laid around and had no energy. The nice lady said that I had bloody, runny stools. So, back to the vet I went. At the Oak Ridge Animal Center, they discovered I had HOOKWORM! Boy, did I feel sick. I continued to feel worse. Then they discovered I had a blood infection. These wonderful vets and staff feel I may have had herlicchia. No wonder I felt so bad!! The nice vet and the wonderful man and lady that rescued me said I needed to stay in the hospital for treatment. I stayed in the hospital three L-O-N-GGG days.

Now I am back at Joe and Sabine's. I am happy to be "home"! It is so nice to be cared for. I am slowly getting better. But now I have to take 4 very expensive prescriptions to help me get well. My bill came to $320.00. I want to thank you EskieFriends for paying my bill and helping me feel soooo much better. Thank you in.....Giving Life A Second Chance. This raffle is now over, but results will remain posted for reference. Dotti DuLany is our hostess. (these are the just 8 of the 25 great items up for raffle in this offering!) Raffle prizes and listing information are on the "Listing" page!

This raffle is being held to raise funds for Fritz, Rocky & Dudley's bills, and any extra will go in the EskieFriends DogBowl, which is used to help needy Eskies(and sometimes Eskie-Friends) as need be. 100% of the money raised will be used for the dogs. You pay NO shipping for US and Canadian packages. The shipping is paid by the donators. Payment must be in US funds only.

Make checks out to Dotti DuLany and mail to her at the address below( Please include your email and regular mailing address). She will post an update to the list regularly(usually nightly). The host and immediate family are NOT allowed to buy tickets(common courtesy)! The rest of us, though, are allowed to buy as many raffle tickets as we can.....so don't hold back!!!

ATTN NON-PAYERS: EFs reserves the right to refuse participation to any pledger that has not fulfilled their obligation by non-payment in previous raffles.
