Fala's Story
Hi EskieFriends,

My name is Fala and I am one lucky Eskie! My previous family took me to a very bad place and left me. I had to live in a cage and I just knew something was terribly wrong! They had told the people at this place that I had bitten one of the little girls in my family (but I didn't) so they were not going to let me be adopted! They said something about me sleeping for a VERY long time?

I sat in my little cage and wouldn't eat and became very depressed and fearful! Then one day a kind lady named Stephanie came by the shelter and saw me. Stephanie has a BIG heart and rescues herding dogs but she knew I was worth saving too! She got in touch with you Eskie folks who helped convince the shelter people to release me into rescue. This took some doing because they still thought I had bitten my little girl (She had grabbed hold of my tail really hard and scared me. I took off running and she hung on! When I turned around to see what was happening, I bumped into her face. I did not bite her, but everybody got really scared. They took me to the shelter and told them I bit her. They thought they were doing me a favor because all the children at my house picked on me and hit me and pulled my tail. My time at the shelter was about OVER when the next thing I know I'm going home with Stephanie! She made room for me among her 10 herding dogs (who are rescues themselves and looking for new homes, too!) and numerous cats and I am SO thankful!

A forever home has been found for me! My new Mom Madeline is really looking forward to my arrival. BUT, the vet says there are some creepy things in my heart that have to be killed before I can really start my new life. I have already been saved from "The Forever Sleep", please help save me from the creepy worm things in my heart!

I really want to live with my new Mom - I will be an only dog! There will be no small children to pull my tail anymore or hit me in the head. I have LOTS of love to give - I just need a second chance. I am only 3 years old so I am young and strong and I just know I will recover quickly! Madeline NEEDS me! She has had some tuff times lately too and she could do with some special Eskie love!

EskieFriend Paulette Huddleston (who doesn't own an Eskie YET) has been very instrumental in my adoption and making sure I get the medical treatment I so badly need.

Madeline is paying for my normal medical needs (neutering, shots, etc). EFs is paying for my HW treatment. I go to the vet next week, and I may need another test to show the infestation level. Depending on the results, my HW treatment will be:
Pre-Defined Estimate for-
Heartworm TX 22-44 Level 3&4 Treatment: $484.56

OR
Pre-Defined Estimate for-
Heartworm TX 22-44 Level 1&2 Treatment: $308.56

An advance payment of $308 is being sent to my vet right away so we can start my treatment next week. EFs will settle up with the vet later.

Thanks to all of you for helping in....giving me my second chance at life! Pic coming soon!

Eskie Hugs & Kisses, Luv & Licks,
Eskieboy Fala
