April 2002 Dogbowl Payout: Princess Chevy

Hi, I'm Princess Chevy. I was left behind in an empty house. My elderly owner had to be transported by ambulance and someone on that team tied me to the toilet. I was found about a week later by a plumber who was sent in to close the house up. I survived by drinking the water in the toilet and eating my own feces.

The plumber gave me to another family, whose landlord found out and made them (almost literally) throw me out. Joyce Brackett had been contacted to find a possible placement for me.

One of the OH HBs foster home Moms, Pat Candela, went to Michigan and said she would pick me up and foster me. YEAAA!! After Pat had me, they discovered that I was at least 9 years of age with teeth in very bad shape - I didn't even have the 4 little teeth between the canines. I was taken to the vet to be checked. Pat was told that I needed to have dental work done and done now!

I'm currently recovering from my all the dental work. I am an extremely well behaved little lady and just loves to have all the attention I can get.

My bill was only $105 and Jill has already mailed the payment to my vet!! Thank you Jill.
