Meka's Story!

Arf! My name is Meka and I'm the cutest little furgirl in Missouri! I was found as a stray in the Wentzville Missouri area and taken to the local pound. The vet at this pound told the Missouri Eskie rescue that I was unadoptable, just because I turn "blue" under stress, and I possibly had a heart problem....which they said would be too expensive to treat. Hmmmph.....Imagine that!!

Shelley Rose Ferland and her group decided that they would take me anyway. Shelley thought I deserved a chance. She took me to the Tri City Vet Clinic in St. Louis MO. I had an ultrasound, extensive blood workup and x-rays done. My vet found NO medical problem and gave me a clean bill of health. Go figure!

My lips still turn blue under stress such as changing environments, but once I settle in, no problem. I am VERY adoptable. I love attention, riding in the car and everyone I meet. I'm housebroken and have good manners. The rescuers think I deserve a second chance; don't you? I am microchipped and ready to be welcomed into a new loving home!

I need $303 for the bloodwork panel, x-rays, ultrasound, meds and having to stay at the vet overnight! Thank you Eskie Luvers and Eskie Friends. Luv Ya!!!
